“The wait time for Space Mountain is 180 minutes?  We have to wait in line for 3 hours?â€

This quote is uttered every day in the Magic Kingdom by thousands of people.  You do not have to be in this predicament.  You can walk to the front of the line with minimal wait and be whistling “zip-a-dee-doo-dah†by taking advantage of FastPass+.  Your family will think you are the ultimate Walt Disney World vacation planner.

FastPass+ is a free service that is included with all theme park admission.  It grants you the privilege to have front of the line access at 3 attractions per day.  If you are staying in a Walt Disney World resort you can make 3 FastPass+ selections per day in the same park 60 days before your trip.  You make them through a mydisneyexperience account beginning at 7am.  The amount of FastPass+ times available per attraction is limited.

The FastPass+ selections you secure in the Magic Kingdom are crucial.  Do not misuse a FastPass+ selection on an attraction that typically has a minimal wait time.  You want to choose the attractions for your Disney World vacation that frequently have the “OMG†wait times.

As the family planner, if everyone is into the thrill rides, then obtain a FastPass+ for Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

If your family does not enjoy thrill rides you can experience three of the following: Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Haunted Mansion, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Do not distress in regards to using a FastPass+ for: Barnstormer, It’s a Small World, Mad Tea Party, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Meet Ariel in her Grotto, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid.  The wait is typically minimal at some point during the day for these attractions.  A few of the attractions are a short experience.

When making your selections it is preferred you have the 3^rd FastPass+ end around 2pm.  The opportunity will then be presented to you to select a 4^th FastPass+ from a large pool of choices through the mydisneyexperience app.  After you have used your 4^th selection, attempt to make a 5^th, and maybe even a 6^th!
